Managing offers

Offers are a good way to incentivize consumers to work with you, and generally come in the form of discounts, price cuts, or free products. They'll be searchable from the homepage and visible on your vendor profile.


If they're enabled in your community, you can manage offers from your vendor profile settings.


Offers are highly configurable and specific to communities. They can be imported across communities, but are not shared—so you can set community-specific settings and will have to update or re-import them after major changes.

  • Offer Title
  • Customer Type
    • New customers, existing customers, or both.
  • Offer Type
    • Free, Discount, or Price Cut
  • Estimated value
    • Required for all offers unless the "Special Offer" type is enabled & visible for your community.
  • Steps to Redeem
    • Instructions to guide a consumer to redeem your offer.
  • Redemption options
    • Include a coupon code, URL, email address, or enable the vendor contact button.
  • Community exclusive
    • This prevents the offer from being imported across communities.

Community options

  • Offer Category
    • This will restrict the offer's visibility based on your selections when it's available. You will see all of the available categories here and can set multiple categories. Generally, this is based on funding stage, but there may be some custom categories enabled for your community. While members can choose their own funding stage, custom categories are set and managed by your Community Manager.
